Murwillumbah and the Tweed Valley villages, from Tumbulgum to Uki.

Murwillumbah is a river town. Older timber homes on the hillside streets, the CBD and South Murwillumbah on the flats, and the valley villages around it: Tumbulgum where the Rous meets the Tweed, Condong by the sugar mill, and Uki out under Wollumbin. Farms, acreage and rural blocks fill in the gaps.

Designed for a town that floods

The Tweed River set a record at Murwillumbah in the 2017 flood after Cyclone Debbie, then went higher again in February 2022. South Murwillumbah, the CBD, Tumbulgum and Condong all took water. We don’t treat that as a footnote.

On the site visit we ask where water reached on your property in 2017 and 2022, and we place the battery and inverter as high as is practical and compliant. If you are on the hillside streets, it is less of a worry, and we will tell you so.

Power out for days after Alfred

After ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred in March 2025, some Murwillumbah homes were still without power days later. A typical battery install from us backs up the whole home in a blackout, unless you ask us to leave some circuits out. We confirm exactly what stays on before install day.

Farms, sheds and rural blocks

Rural properties. Out towards Uki and up the valley, many properties have a house, a shed and a long run between them. Some have a bore or pumps. We design around how the whole property uses power.

Off-grid. Where the grid is a long way off, or unreliable, we design off-grid systems and also maintain, inspect and repair existing ones.

Businesses. For workshops and businesses in South Murwillumbah and around town, our large commercial electrical background means three-phase boards and working around trading hours are routine. commercial solar →

What we install

Sigenergy (premium) and GoodWe ESA all-in-one batteries with 8 kWh modules (mid-tier), plus Sungrow, Solax and Tesla batteries. AIKO and Jinko panels. Batteries added to existing solar, and EV chargers for homes and businesses.

Northern Rivers residents: $500 off your system. Ask us about it on your assessment.
