Salt air on the Tallow Beach side
Close to the beach, salt spray reaches roofs, fixings and anything mounted outside. Some panels, inverters and batteries have specific rules for coastal sites, and the fixings need to suit. We check the manufacturer’s coastal rules for your address so your warranties stay intact, and where we can, we put the battery somewhere sheltered from the weather.
Two homes on one block
Some Suffolk Park blocks have a granny flat or second dwelling. That raises real questions: one meter or two, which home the battery backs up, and whether the switchboard and mains can take it. We work this out with you on the site visit, not on install day.
Power after dark
Many households use most of their power from late afternoon, after the sun’s gone off the panels.
