Can solar go on any roof?
Most roofs, yes. We check the roof type, pitch and shading before we design anything.
Can I add a battery later?
Yes. We can design your solar to be battery-ready, so adding one later is straightforward.
Can I add a battery to my existing solar?
Usually, yes. We check your bills to see whether your panels can cover the day and charge a battery for the night. If they can, it’s battery only. If not, we design the extra solar you need.
Which batteries do you install?
Sigenergy is our premium option and GoodWe (the ESA all-in-one with 8 kWh modules) is our high-quality mid-tier option. We also install Sungrow, Solax and Tesla. Panels are AIKO or Jinko.
How long does a battery last?
Typically 10 to 15 years, and our batteries come with a 10-year warranty.
Will a battery keep my power on in a blackout?
A typical install from us backs up the whole home, unless you ask us to leave some circuits out (an EV charger, for example). We confirm exactly what will stay on during the site visit.
Do rebates run out?
The federal Cheaper Home Batteries rebate and solar STCs are taken off at point of sale, and we do the paperwork. Solar STCs step down every January, so the same system gets a slightly smaller rebate each new year.
Is there a loan to help pay for solar and a battery?
The NSW Government’s Home Energy Saver program offers eligible NSW homeowners a 0% interest loan of up to $15,000 for solar and batteries, through Brighte, over up to 10 years. Rebates come off first, then the loan covers the rest. Eligibility criteria apply and loans are subject to lender approval. We’ll run you through it on your call.
Do you visit before the install?
Yes, every job. We check your battery can go in a compliant position, assess your switchboard (including any RCBO upgrades needed to meet current safety standards) and make sure you’re happy with the plan. No hidden surprises or extra costs on the day.
Do you use subcontractors?
No. We do the work ourselves. Our own in-house team designs every system and does every install.
What warranties do I get?
A 25-year workmanship warranty on our installation work, a 25-year panel performance warranty, a 10-year battery warranty and a 10-year inverter replacement warranty. Equipment is covered by the manufacturers’ warranties.
How long does installation take?
Usually one day, done by our own electricians. Grid connection typically follows one to three weeks later, and we handle the grid application.
Do I need council approval?
Most homes don’t. We check and manage any permits that are needed.
Where do you work?
The NSW Northern Rivers, from Tweed Heads south to Evans Head and west to Lismore. We don’t work over the Queensland border.
How do I get started?
Send us one or two recent power bills for a free energy assessment, or book a 15-minute call. We size the system to how you actually use power, not a generic package.
