How It Works

From your first text to switch-on, here's exactly how we take you from your power bill to a working solar and battery system, with our own electricians at every step.

1

Talk to us

Leave your name and mobile and we'll text you within minutes with the earliest call times. A 15-minute phone call with our team covers your home, what you want from solar and a battery, and the rebates you can get. In the Mullumbimby area (postcodes 2481 to 2483) we can start with a visit to your home instead.

2

We design around your power bills

Send us one or two recent power bills. We size the system from how you actually use power, not a generic package. No solar yet? We design solar and a battery together. Solar that can't keep up? We add panels and a battery. Solar that already covers the day? It's a battery only. You choose between Sigenergy (premium) and GoodWe (mid-tier) batteries, with AIKO or Jinko panels.

3

Your proposal, rebates already off

You get a clear proposal showing the design on your roof, with the federal Cheaper Home Batteries rebate and solar STCs already taken off. We handle the rebate paperwork. When you're happy, you sign online. Deposit: 10% if you're paying yourself, or no deposit if you use the NSW 0% interest-free loan through Brighte. Loans by Brighte. Eligibility and lender approval apply.

4

Site visit before every install

Every job gets a face-to-face visit before install day, not just the big ones. We check your battery can go in a compliant position and look over your switchboard, including any RCBO safety upgrades it needs. You and we both agree the plan, so there are no surprises or extra costs on the day. We also lodge your grid application with the network for you.

5

Install day

Most installs take one day, done by our own licensed electricians. No subcontractors. Before we leave, we set up your monitoring app and show you how it works.

6

Switch on and aftercare

The network connection typically follows one to three weeks after install. We call you to check everything is connected, monitored and working, and to answer your questions. Your installation work is covered by our 25-year workmanship warranty, on top of the manufacturer warranties, and our battery owner help pages are there whenever you need them.

Common questions

How long does it take?

Install is usually one day, and the network connection typically follows one to three weeks after that. We talk you through the timing for your job on the first call.

Do you quote over the phone?

We size your system from your power bills on the call and send a proposal, then confirm every detail on a face-to-face site visit before install day, so nothing changes on the day.

Who does the installation?

Our own in-house licensed electricians. We don't use subcontractors.

What do I pay upfront?

A 10% deposit if you're paying yourself, or no deposit if you use the NSW 0% interest-free loan through Brighte. Loans by Brighte. Eligibility and lender approval apply.

Do you handle the rebates and paperwork?

Yes. The federal battery rebate and solar STCs are taken off your price at the point of sale, and we lodge the paperwork and the grid application for you.
