Solar Near the Beach: Tyagarah and New Brighton Installs
Two jobs on the coast between Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads: 25 Seraphim panels (10.375 kW) on a Sungrow 8 kW inverter at Tyagarah, replacing an old system, and 14 AIKO panels on tilt frames with a Fronius GEN24 hybrid and an EV-ready circuit at New Brighton.

Tyagarah: an old system replaced (September 2023)
A home on a pale green metal roof, with the hinterland ranges on the skyline. The old system came off, and 25 Seraphim 415 W panels went on in blocks across the roof faces, on a Sungrow SG8.0RS 8 kW inverter.
New Brighton: tilt frames and an EV circuit (October 2024)
A home among palms near the beach at New Brighton. Fourteen AIKO Neostar panels (470 W each), 6.58 kW, sit on adjustable tilt frames on the low metal roof, running on a Fronius Primo GEN24 5 kW hybrid inverter. We also ran a 32 A circuit to the back wall of the garage, ending at a 40 A isolator, ready for an EV charger.
The Brunswick coast
Tyagarah, New Brighton, South Golden Beach and Ocean Shores line the coast north of Byron, close to our base. Nearby jobs: a Sigenergy battery at South Golden Beach and 17.6 kW of solar in Brunswick Heads.
How a solar job runs

Questions we get asked
Why tilt frames on a flat-ish roof?
A low-pitched roof can leave panels nearly flat. Adjustable tilt frames lift them towards the sun and help rain wash them clean.
Can you get my garage ready for an EV charger?
Yes. At New Brighton we ran a 32 A circuit from the switchboard to the garage, ending at an isolator ready for a wall charger. See home EV charger installation.

Yes. It is a hybrid inverter that can run with a compatible battery later.
