Three More Solar Jobs at Rosebank: Sigenergy, Sungrow and Fronius

Three more homes at Rosebank, in the rainforest hills north of Lismore, each with Jinko panels but a different inverter: a Sigenergy SigenStor, a Sungrow hybrid and a Fronius GEN24.

Job 1: all-black Jinko solar and a Sigenergy SigenStor (May 2025)

A home on a green corrugated roof above a sloping garden and a valley of rainforest. All-black Jinko panels (440 W each) went on in two blocks across the main roof, feeding a 6 kW Sigenergy SigenStor with a 16 kWh battery, as claimed for the job.

Job 2: Jinko on a Sungrow hybrid inverter (September 2024)

A galvanised roof backed by tall forest. A block of Jinko Tiger Neo panels (475 W each) sits on the clearest face, on a Sungrow SH5.0RS 5 kW hybrid inverter that can take a battery later.

Job 3: Jinko on a Fronius GEN24 (August 2024)

A low, multi-level metal roof in thick rainforest. Jinko panels (440 W each) went on in rows across the flatter sections, running on a Fronius Primo GEN24 10 kW hybrid inverter.

Rosebank’s rainforest roofs

How every job like this runs

1. Free energy assessment from one or two recent power bills, or a quick phone call on 0483 903 020.

2. Custom design sized from the household’s real usage, with the federal Cheaper Home Batteries rebate and solar STCs taken off at point of sale. We handle the paperwork. See your rebates or try the battery rebate calculator.

3. Face-to-face site visit before install day: compliant battery position, switchboard and RCBO check, and agreement on what stays on in a blackout. No surprises on the day.

4. Install, usually one day, by our own electricians. No subcontractors. Then monitoring set-up, grid connection and a sign-off call.

Warranties

Every new install from us now comes with a 10-year battery warranty, 10-year inverter replacement, 25-year panel performance and our 25-year workmanship warranty on our installation work. Equipment is covered by the manufacturer warranties.

The federal battery rebate steps down on 1 January 2027 and again on 1 July 2027, based on install date. If a battery is on your list, it’s worth getting your assessment done early.

Questions we get asked

Which inverter brand do you use?

For new battery systems we lead with Sigenergy (premium) and GoodWe (mid-tier). We have also installed Sungrow, Fronius and others where they suited the job. See Sigenergy vs GoodWe vs Tesla.

Does solar work under rainforest trees?

It works where the panels get direct sun. Under heavy canopy we put the panels on the faces and roofs that are clear, and size the system to what they can realistically make. See shading and cleaning.

What is a Fronius GEN24?

A Fronius hybrid inverter that can run with a compatible battery and give backup power. On this job it runs the new Jinko panels.

What happens when the grid goes down?

The Sigenergy Gateway switches the home over to the battery and solar. A typical install backs up the whole home unless you ask us to leave circuits out. See blackout backup batteries.
