Who this suits

Casino, about 23 km west of Lismore in the Richmond Valley, is home to all kinds of businesses, from farms and workshops to shops and accommodation. Many businesses use most of their power in the daytime, which is when solar produces it, and some need steady refrigeration or backup for critical equipment.

How we design it

  • From your data: your power bills and, where available, your half-hourly interval data show your daytime load, peaks and weekend use. We size the system so most of the solar is used on site.
  • Your tariff: many businesses are on time-of-use or demand-based tariffs, and the right design depends on how your bill is worked out. See how to read your power bill.
  • Your roof and site: metal sheds, older roofs, skylights, roof-mounted plant, and a full check of your switchboard on the site visit.
  • Batteries: a battery can carry solar into the evening, keep critical equipment running in an outage and help with peak charges on some tariffs. We install Sigenergy, GoodWe, Sungrow, Solax and Tesla.

Approvals and rebates

Small-scale systems up to 100 kW can earn STCs, taken off at point of sale. The Clean Energy Regulator has announced the scheme is to be extended to systems from 100 kW up to 1 MW for mid-scale solar installed from 1 October 2026, subject to regulations being in place, so we confirm the position for your size when we design it. Every system needs a connection application to Essential Energy, which we handle; larger systems involve more assessment and may have export limits. Ask your accountant how solar is treated for your business, and we will provide the paperwork they need.

Installed around your business

We plan around your trading hours and keep your site safe and running. Our own electricians do the work with no subcontractors, then set up monitoring so you can see what the system is doing. Our background is 25 years in solar and large commercial electrical work, so three-phase boards, big sheds and busy sites are routine.
