Byron Bay homes, holiday houses and businesses. Designed and installed by our own local electricians.
Byron Bay asks a lot of a solar system. Older cottages in the town centre, salt-blasted homes towards Wategos and Belongil, holiday houses that sit empty for weeks then fill up, businesses in the Arts and Industry Estate, and acreage out towards Ewingsdale and the hinterland. We design for the property in front of us, and our base is just up the road in Mullumbimby.

Heritage streets
Part of Byron Bay is a heritage conservation area. If your home is in it, or individually listed, we check council’s requirements before we design and keep the panel layout neat and low-profile. Panels that sit flush with the roofline look better anywhere, and that matters more here.
Coastal sites
Sea air is hard on equipment. Close to the beach, some equipment has specific installation rules for coastal sites. We choose equipment and fixings to suit, and check the rules so your warranties stay intact.
Businesses in the Arts and Industry Estate
Cafes, makers, showrooms, gyms and workshops in the Arts and Industry Estate mostly trade in daylight, which is when solar produces. Our large commercial electrical background means three-phase boards, interval data and working around your trading hours are routine. commercial solar →
Holiday homes and short stays
If your place is let out, guests can use a lot of power in a short time. Monitoring lets you watch the system from anywhere, and an EV chargers charger is something more guests now look for.
Hinterland and acreage
Out towards Ewingsdale and the hills, some properties are a long way from the nearest pole. We design off-grid and grid-connected systems for rural blocks, and maintain and repair existing off-grid systems. Suffolk Park is covered too, on its own page.
What we install
Sigenergy batteries (premium) and the GoodWe ESA all-in-one with 8 kWh modules (mid-tier), plus Sungrow, Solax and Tesla batteries. AIKO and Jinko panels. Batteries added to existing solar, and whole-home blackout backup on a typical install unless you ask us to leave circuits out. After ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred knocked out power across the Byron Shire in March 2025, that is a question we hear a lot.
We stay after install day
We handle the rebate paperwork and the grid application, set up your monitoring, and finish with a sign-off call. If something needs looking at later, you deal with the same local team that installed it.
Northern Rivers residents: $500 off your system. Ask us about it on your assessment.
